Connected Women Foundation: aiming for parity in the world of innovation and technology.
Women nowadays represent less than a third of employees in tech. And the women who did find access to these positions face daily obstacles in their professional lives. Connected Women Foundation is part of a fight to restore parity, at a time when equality can only benefit innovation. CWF is committed to reversing the trend that has long seen women underrepresented and underestimated in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). It is high time to recognize the importance of women's contributions in science, and show young girls that they can be the great engineers of tomorrow.
Connected Women Foundation was founded to deconstruct barriers in a world of innovation that closes its doors on women. Discouraged by cultural and societal pressures that reflect today's gender inequalities, a disproportionately small number of young girls currently embark on journeys in science and technology. CWF is committed to facilitating their entry into these sectors, guiding and supporting them to make this sidelined half of humanity shine.
